Today, we are are sharing the inspiring story of what Joe Pugliese, President of the Hemophilia Alliance in Landsdale, PA, does to help his not-for-profit organization improve the lives of those impacted by hemophilia. Here’s a glimpse of Joe’s story:
“I like to tell people I am on the side of the angels, since I represent the compassionate, caring, and extraordinarily competent people who provide care at hemophilia treatment centers across the country. Centers of Excellence. They provide 24/7 care for patients and their families with bleeding disorders. My work is to help them have the resources they need to continue this great work.
Hemophilia impacts many aspects of a person’s life – from physical and emotional health to work, school and family. But with the right treatment and comprehensive care from a team of experts who truly understand the disorder, you can live a fulfilling, productive and long life. You work. You play. You pursue your dreams.”
